Jose Solon Perfecto talks about Terroir Ceramics and his artist process in this short documentary filmed at his studio in La Union

“I think there’s something Americana about rural pottery because it’s kind of like a folk song. It’s like country.

“It’s me, my old truck, my dog, my son, and a loving wife. The bills are due, but the sunset’s beautiful. It gives you perspective of now.”

Watch this short documentary that captures Jose’s artist philosophy on the marriage of land, work, and home life.

Ceramic Art. Filipino Culture.

Jose Solon Perfecto is a Filipino ceramic artist that investigates the material character of the Philippines.
His Terroir Ceramics become his work with the land.
